Here's some more inspiration from our Design Team:

Guest Designers

NanaConnie said: Bugaboo Stamps image "Skull Tree."  It was such a wonderful silhouette, I printed it large enough to fill the entire card front and my only embellishment was the added bits of glitter to the eyes and the pumpkin.  Nice CAS design.

For my card, I chose the adorable Strawberry Mouse by Karen Middleton at Sweet Pea Stamps. I coloured this little cutie with Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut so I could pop him up with foam tape.  I made a fun background with some angled panels.  I started by stamping a leaf cluster with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.  Then I did some ink blending with the same Distress Ink.  I layered red, green, and black cardstock strips and some strawberry-patterned paper strips.  I die-cut the Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks in red and added some punny words with my Dymo label maker.  I added a strawberry charm from my stash, tied with baker's twine, and finished off the card with a number of white sequins.

DESIGN TEAM

For this heart easel card, I´m working with "How to tame the beast", design by Charity Dauenhauer and provided by Sweet Pea Stamps.

My tower is to the charming CLYDE, who kindly gives us the sponsor BUGABOO DIGI STAMPS !!!!

Hi! This week my animal magic is the beautiful and mysterious unicorn. In my card, the adorable  Unicorn   of  our sponsor BUGABOO DIGI .
Lyn

For my second card for this challenge I've used the same image as last week, but instead of using light colours I've gone for darker shades and loads of gems and glitter. The papers I've used this time are called 'Neighbourwood'. Half of the 48 sheets are already glittered. There's leaves, acorns, tree bark, flowers, butterflies and sheets with animlas, which I've punched out. The little bottle contains magical purple fary dust! It's a little cord necklace for someone who's a Pisces... There's a little fairy charm attached too!
Unfortunetly my intended Bugaboo card (which was rabbits and elephants on some rabbit rainbow backing paper) got covered in dust after hubby sandpapered the walls in my near empty craft room and worse still, he can't remember where he put my box of Promarkers! So...here's an oldie from last year, featuring a chick and an elephant.

For this card I used the Monster Rose-Colored, and this is a little different because you don´t need to paint, this cute monster is already colored. Just print and cut it. As additional elements I used a button, orange floss and little Love sentiment.

I had to show you this image and sentiment combo, it makes me laugh so much! I've already seen Christmas tins of biscuits and chocolates in the shops! This is called Halloween Christmas Owl Trio from Bugaboo.

This is a very quick Christmas card to follow on from the owls, using Snowflake Silhouette Reindeer  from Bugaboo, to which I added a lilac shadow then covered in glitter film before die cutting.

Let's Have Some Quirky Animal Magic! Challenge #19

Hi Quirky people, hopefully this is me (Lyn) bringing you another Quirky Challenge. Wasn't the last one fantastic! To see who won, click HERE or scroll down!

This fortnights challenge is... (Okay the title gave it away!)

Animal Magic!
It's quite easy, we'd like to see Animals! Large ones, small ones, squiggly ones, long ones, short ones, cute ones, funny ones, fat ones, skinny ones...it's up to you. The more 'animal' the better!!

Our fabulous Sponsors for this challenge are..

 Bugaboo
 And...

and...

1st place: Seven Digi's of your choice from Bugaboo

2nd place: 4 images from Sweet Pea Stamps

 3rd place:  - Robyn's Fetish 1 digi!

Here's some inspiration from our Design Team

First, our guest designers

NanaConnie
BIG apology to NanaConnie - Cazzy totally forgot to add her gorgeous card! NanaConnie used Lisa Victoria's Snowflake Wonder.
Fit Kitty

Thank you to Cazzy and the Quirky Crafts Design Team for inviting me to be your guest designer!  For my card, I chose a gorgeous image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called Silhouette - Happy Halloween Cat.  I got really inky with my card! This silhouette image is perfect for an inky background. I blended a spooky sky with Distress Inks:  Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Dusty Concord, and Black Soot.

I wanted to add some tiny stars with silver embossing paste and Memory Box Starry Nights stencil, but I ended up smudging them, so I wiped them off - you can still see a bit of the silver in places and I thought it left a cool shimmery effect!  I added lots of water drops, a Spider Web die-cut (Impression Obsession), and a number of black sequins. The inky panel was die-cut with Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Border and I mounted it on black cardstock and then onto a white card base.

Auntie Sue

Today I am so pleased to be GDT this week and have made this card using Charmaine Flannery's Dragon's Keeper- DIGI  from our generous sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps. I have coloured my image with a mixture of Promarkers and Lyra Rembrandt Pencils. Papers are from Laura Ashley and lots of gems, lace, ribbons and die cuts added to embellish it.

  And now...The Quirky Team.

DORIS

For this magical challenge, I decided to paint the gorgeous Charmaine Flannery's Squirreling Around image, from our amazing sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps. I just used the Spectrum Noir Alcohol Makers and a frame.

For me, one of the most magical animals are dragons. For my doctor bag shaped card, I used the lovely Clyde Get Well provided by our generous sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.

For my card I chose this beautiful unicorn, reminding me of the horses we know, I would gladly take care of an unicorn in my house.  The image Karen Middleton's Unicorn Heart comes from our sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps.

For this week my card has a beautiful and sweet dragon

of our sponsor Sweet Pea. This little dragon takes his time reading bedtime.
He sits in the beautiful moon.

This is one of my favorite magical animals !

Cazzy
This is Hedgehog flower from Bugaboo, hedgehogs are always magical to me, I love it when they come through the garden at night eating bugs, is the ladybug about to be eaten I wonder?

This is Charmaine Flannery's We're All Mad Here, she is beautiful and crazy and has a magical crazy (Cheshire?) cat on her lap, and playing cards flying through the air!

Lyn - will be late for her own challenge!
Sorry sorry sorry everyone!! I'm here now!!

I love this image by  Sweet Pea Stamps. It's called, 'Time For A Tale.' (Please click on the link to see a really fabulous coloured picture of the image)  I've coloured with Promarkers, added loads of Stickles Glitter, foam lettering, felt flowers, a sewn on button, gems and eyelash wool.

And, because I knew I was going to be late, here's an Oldie from Bugaboo.
You too can back date, as long as we haven't seen your creation and it's no older than ten days.

DESIGN TEAM

For my project I made this tag with the digi Watermelon Margarita
from our sponsor Limited Runs Stamps. The image was coloured with colors pencils. I used an embossing folder to emboss dots on my background.

For this new challenge, I worked a card. I used a dots embossing design all around the card with not very homogeneous lines. The image that I used: BD Shark Cupcake from Limited Runs. I used the Paper Piecing technique; then I used a wide blue ribbon and a sentiment The sentiment is in Spanish, because I plan to give this card to a special friend.

For my card I used embossing folders with distress inks and  "Art Deco Flower", digi provided by our sponsor Limited Runs.

Hi everyone! For my card, I used "Vintage Cupid", of our sponsor Limited Runs. On my card I used embossing folders with different designs and effects.

I used Limited Runs Birds on a wire and Bird House, and gave them a background using embossing folders that were free with a magazine, there are three of them, and I enhanced the embossing with chalks.

This beauty is Helena Reis's Dia de los Muertos from Sweet Pea Stamps, I think she is gorgeous! I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz cracked glass embossing folder with Coordinations paper sanded to reveal black.
