GUEST DESIGNERS

Anna
Anna used the colour combo, and said " I finally decided to make a vintage card, hope that it's ok? The color combo is really awesome, I would probably never use it that way if it wouldn't be for this challenge LOL But it looks really good!"
Anna, your card is awesome too!

DESIGN TEAM

We want to welcome Myriam to our Design Team.

Myriam

I made a gift bag with Mitten Shaker card from our sponsor The Cutting Cafe!

This is a two parts project. This is the first and it is page for my Nostalgia Smash Book made with the funny Snowman Shaker Card provided by our sponsor. The sentiment and the snowflakes are from the file Fun with Frosty, also provided by The Cutting Cafe. The girl in the picture is my daughter Sofi, having fun in the snow. Next week you will see this project complete.

I used the Snowman Shaker card set in PDF format, and cut it out by hand, badly as you can see. I also used Fun with Frosty the Snowman to put the sentiment in his tummy.

Hi everyone! Today for my project I used Mitten Shaker.  From our sponsor The Cutting Cafe.

I made a card and ornament tree with palette colours to this challenge.

Challenge #24 Going Around In Quirky Circles.-Reminder

Hi quirky guys, Lyn here, it's reminder time!  Our challenge is nice and easy, just in case you're busy with Christmas shopping...It's Going Around in Circles, (which I'm sure many of you are! I know I am!)

Our Fabulous Sponsor is Crackerbox Palace and the team have used the Bird House, Bird and the Flowers, they supplied us with. So, it's now up to you! We want to see circles! As many or as few as you like. Big ones, little ones, scalloped ones, fancy ones, it's up to you!! Just think Circles! Here's some inspiration from the Design Team! A very clever card from....

Myriam.
I used the bird house digi provided by our sponsor Cracker Box Palace and coloured it with Spectrum Noir.

I used Spectrum Noir for coloring the stamp!!

To decor my butterflies circle card, I used the house digi provided by our sponsor Cracker Box Palace and coloured it with Spectrum Noir pens and glitter pen for the swirls.

Cazzy
This is a cheating a little, I had the card with the tissue box on it already, I have added the stamped sentiment and bugs, all die cut in circles. Then I doodled with a paper white pen, one corner got a little messed up, and was not correctable, but hey it will have to do!
This is the first card, I hope to add a second soon. The bugs are here, and the tissue box here. Of course you can choose to have them as digi images for just $3 by contacting Crackerbox, or winning them!

Inside the card, I used Get Well Soon, and don't let anyone tell you soup will help, which I put into a circle to keep in the theme!

Here are a couple of the cute bird images I mentioned last week, I think this is too funny, that upside down bird looks like it is saying - what happened? The result is the hatching egg that landed on the floor haha!
Sentiment is from a Kars set.

I love this snowy Winter Cottage stamp, and when I cut it out with a scalloped circle a shaker card came to mind, and this is how it turned out.
I added a piece of tinsel ribbon (from Crafty Ribbons) so that it could be hung as a bauble or picture.

Shaken up! More details and photos on my blog.

Hi everyone!!  In this project I used the digi Bird and flowers also I used the digi The branch. I made is a slide card. My project is coloured with acualerables pencils and Distress Inks.

Challenge #24 Going Around In Quirky Circles

Hello Quirky people! Lyn here... well, in spirit if not in body! Thank you to all those who joined in with our last challenge. To see the winners, please scroll down or click Here
As usual I'm running around in circles chasing my tail, meeting myself coming back and getting there before I've left...so this fortnights challenge, is just that.. Going Around In Circles. They can be embossed, they can be die-cuts, they can be half circles, whole circles, tiny circles, BIG circles. Any kind of circle, circle shapes,  circle cards, lots of circle's or just one, as long as there's a circle or circles on your crafty project, (and yes! Dots are circles too!) So, come and join in!
This time we are sponsored by the one and only...

First place: 3 digi images from Crackerbox
Second place: 2 digi images from Crackerbox
Third place: 1 digi image from Crackerbox

You can choose your digi images from the stamps on sale, any of the stamps can be bought as digi images for just $3 by contacting our sponsor.

The bird related images that the team have used today were generously provided by Crackerbox Palace and can be found HERE!

Here are some lovely designs from our guest designers...

I used the stamps from our sponsor in my Telescoping Card!!

Mariangelina made circles with flowers in them on her pretty tag.

And here are a few more creations from our Design Team...

To make my card, I used the branch digi provided by our sponsor. It is colored with a mix of Spectrum Noir pens and Prismacolor pencils.

Kemly

Hi everyone!! For this challenge I make a snowglobe!  I used the  House digi,  provided by our sponsor Cracker Box Palace. I coloured with acuarerable pencils and Distress Inks.

Doris - will be along later.

This is my first ever rocker card, and I made quite a few errors (if you want to know what they are you will need to look at my blog post - can you spot an obvious one here?).
I made a little scene in a circle, and the base is a folded circle, I even found a circular sentiment that fits so well with the theme! I coloured the images, including the backing paper, with Promarkers and Graph'it pens. Rock on!

 Lyn

And here's my little card. It's brown, covered with circle patterned paper. I've used the bird house, which I've 3D-ed along with the little birds from our Sponsor, both coloured with Promarkers. I've used round die cut letters for 'New' and ribbon for 'Home' (I think those little birds will love it!) Freebie Papers are by Shery K. Design.

 "You'll Never Walk Alone"

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

When you walk...

Walk on....

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk, you'll never walk alone

DESIGN TEAM

Hi everyone! Today I want to honor the Ladies Magicians, curious women who have aroused great interest in magic and illusion.

They break rules with their beauty and grace. They take the work to us dream. For my project I used the beautiful digi from our generous sponsor Stitch Bear's.  The wonderful
This project is coloured with acuarelable pencil and I used Distress Ink.

CAZZY

Is not well, so running late. Will be here later.
I'm still not well, just a virus picked up from my little grandson, but I've manged to complete my card. I used Tiny Bubbles, she has pretty wings. Do you like the punk cat? I have added a little glitter to her wings, and she is coloured with Promarkers. I'm still in Christmas mode so she is on a Christmas card.

DORIS

My first one for this reminder is a bendy card, and I used the Roxanne from Hope Jacare Underwater girls, provider for our amazing sponsor StichyBear's Digi Stamps. And as like the las week, I used the same technique, and some additional cutting files from Silhouette.

My second one, a card I made for a special friend. I painted the beautiful Who Me image using Faber Castell water pencil. By the way, this adorable image is also from StichyBear's Digi Stamps

MONICA

This is a sad myth:
According to the Greek myths Ariadne was the daughter of the Cretan king, Minos.
She fell in love with the Athenian hero Theseus, who was coming to Crete to kill the Minotaur and to rescue the Athenian youth. Thus Ariadne helped Theseus by promising her to take her to Athens as his wife. She gave him two special gifts -- a sword and a clue of thread -- to find a way back from the Labyrinth after killing the Minotaur.
As promised, she left Crete with Theseus and with the Athenian youth and they stopped on the island of Naxos. While Ariadne was asleep, Theseus deserted her in Naxos.
My card represents this myth.
Ariadne - or Arianna- digi provided by Stitchy Bear, was color with Spectrum Noir pens.

LYN
Well, silly me used a lovely steampunk fairy, but one  StichyBear's Digi Stamps no longer has on their books, so of course I can't show it here, instead here's last weeks creation, which I only managed to add on Friday to last weeks post, using Fairy Moon printed over some PinkPetticoat snowflakes paper, with silver eyelash wool, silver corner diecuts, which I thought went well with the stars on the digi, plus lace, tiny punched out snow flakes and die cut sentiments.
