It is my (Caro's) turn to set the challenge this week. Being a country lass myself, I just love the summer months pottering around farms and as a child I used to help milk the cows at our neighbours farm. Thinking back to my childhood and the summer months spent on the farm I decided that our theme for this challenge should be:
Recycling on the Farm
We are lucky enough to have two sponsors this week. The first prize winner as chosen by the design team will receive the 'Moo' ribbon collection from Crafty Ribbons.
The second prize winner will receive a $5 gift voucher from our second sponsor Digital delights.
So without further ado here are the guest designers and design team entries, using digital stamps from Digital Delights, for the Recycling on the Farm challenge:
Guest Designer Wendy (Papersniffer)
Farmer Giles from our sponsors to decorate this recycled cloth bag for storing plastic farm animals in (my iron isn't working hence all the creases!). I used tapestry stamps round the edge and then mounted the horse (coloured with promarker) in the centre. The tag was made with recycled string and cardboard (with one side torn off to reveal the corrugations) with green distress ink for the edges and then Farmer Giles was coloured with promarkers and mounted on it.
I've used Farmer Giles and Claudia Cow from our sponsors, coloured them with Promarkers, put them together on a Alphabet hanger. For my recycling I cut card from a cat food box and used some garden raffia. The chicken ribbon, which I won in a challenge, is from Crafty Ribbons!
So now it is your turn. We can't wait to see what you create.
Please add a link to your blog post (not your blog) using the biggest blue froggy at the top of the collection, the other one (at the bottom) doesn't do anything that we can tell, and please comment after you have linked.Don't forget to mention Quirky and add a link back to here (please read the rules and if you realised you haven't followed the rules and won't be included in the top three, and you want your entry removed to try again - please email us using the link in the side bar).
