Challenge #11 Two Quirky Sketches!

Welcome back everyone to another Quirky Crafts Challenge. This one has been set by me, Lyn (Spyder) so I hope loads of you will come and join in. It's easy, so there's no excuse! It's a fortnightly challenge so there's plenty of time!
I usually choose a sketch so I won't disappoint, I've not only chosen a sketch this time too, but with a little twist, I have two sketches for you! You can do them both or just chose to do one. Don't forget we love to see your cards but also welcome any kind of craftiness! ATC's, Fat Pages, Scrapbook Pages, Inches, Tags, Altered Art, whatever (as long as you use at least one of the sketches)!! We want to see what you can do!!
You can enter the challenge as many times as you like. You may flip or turn the sketches, we don't mind just as long as we can see you've followed them. Told you it was easy!
We have a fabulous sponsor for this Challenge, which means prizes!
The winner of the Design Team Choice will win a Quirky Guest Designer place, a winners badge and...
Any 3 sets from

The Public Voted winner will also be asked to join us as a Guest Designer and have a winners Badge for their sidebar.
Here are some fantastic examples from our latest Guest Designers for this challenge and of course as always, from Cazzy, Dianne, Caro, and me! Please pop over and visit our blogs, there's always something to see and of course you'll always find a weekly freebie on my blog!

Guest Designer Dawn used the It's About That Time Set from our sponsor with the first sketch to make this stunning monochrome card, see more images on her blog.

Guest Designer Lisa used the One Spring Day set from our sponsor with the second sketch to make this fun card full of 3d flowers.

Cazzy used One Spring Day images for this spring showers card.

Has used the first sketch and the tree from the 'One Spring day ' set 7 for this Welcome Spring card, coloured the tree herself and used a sentiment from 'One Spring Day,coloured' set 2.
has made a scrapbook page using the first sketch with a collage of flower photos from her garden and elements from the One Spring Day set from our sponsor.

I've made three cards. On this card I've used the 'It's about the Time, Clocks' set from our sponsors along with the second sketch
I've used the same 'Clocks' in the second card and the same sketch, but have added 'It's About That Time, Big Circles' cut out using Nesties and Woodware punches and placed the clock over itUsing the first sketch on this New Home card, Lyn used the tree from the 'One Spring Day, Coloured' set

That's what we've done, so now it's your turn! Look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Come back and vote for your favourites on Friday 3rd June after 18:00 or Saturday 4th of June before 17:00 BST.

Oh and by the way if you can't vote on this post you need to click on the big lovely Mr Blue Froggy just below this and it will take you to the collection where you will be able to vote. Only one vote per entry is allowed, and if you think you have voted twice don't worry it won't count them both!

Challenge #10. Winner.

We were a little disappointed that not many of you had a go at Diane's Quirky sliding window/pull up card. We cried buckets! No, only kidding. Well done Kelly! You squeezed in at the last minute! Please help yourself to a Winners Badge and contact Cazzy using the email link on the sidebar as we'd love you to join us as a Guest Designer in one of our next challenges!
The favourite creation, most favoured by the Design Team and the winner of the $10 voucher to spend in the Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps Store is...
Beverly G ♥

(there's more) because there were so few entries and because we really wish you could all win, we'd love to invite Goldie to join us as a Guest Designer too in the not too distant future, so please could you also take a winners badge and contact Cazzy about joining the Team as Guest a Designer for one of our next Challenges!

Quirky Crafts Challenge - Challenge No. 10:- Sliding WIndow / Pull Up Card

Hi All,

It's my turn again already (Diane). This is only my second time to set the challenge, and let me tell you I have discovered already that it is not always easy to come up with something different, but something that everyone will enjoy. So I set about thinking, and I eventually decided that it might be a good idea to revisit a card style that I used to love. I find often that I do several of a card shape and then move on to something new, only to forget how much I enjoyed doing the older styles. So my challenge this time is to make what I always called a Sliding Window Card, but it is also called a pull up card, or pull up easel. I am sure many of you will know exactly what I mean....but just in case I found this video on Youtube which describes it beautifully. Click here to see. Just to make it even more interesting I am going for a Male theme...Fathers Day is not far away, and there are always those dreaded male cards to make for birthdays too. So there we have it, a pull up card in a male theme....and for those of you who would prefer to make something non card related I will set a Challenge of 3 D Male themed gift.

Our sponsor this week is STITCHY BEAR DIGITAL STAMPS

The Winner of The Design Team Choice will win a $10 voucher from our sponsors Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps so you can choose something from the great range of images and papers, which you'll find in their store. We'd also love you to join us as a Guest Designer in one of our future challenges.
And the winner of the Public Voting will also be invited to join us as a Guest Designer .
The Design Team and our latest Guest Designers have produced some inspiration for you, all using digi images from our sponsor.

I used the Just a Note Digistamp for my sample. Just right for a Father's Day card for a Father who isn't the touchy feely sentimental type. My photo is a little disappointing, but I couldn't get a better shot. The papers used are actually a sage green shade!
Lyn AKa Spyder, has used 'Designated Driver' digi along with some brown leather look card and mock white stitching to give the impression of a wallet.
Caro has used Guarding the egg digital stamp printed onto parchment paper with gold embossing round the edge of the card to finish it off in a true fantasy style.
Inside she has used the Just a Note digital stamp again on parchment paper for consistency and an oldy worldy look.

Please use our lovely Mr Blue Frog to add your cards and other makes. Please make sure your link leads to your make and not just your blog. Once you have left your link please also comment. Don't forget to come back Friday 20th/Saturday21th to vote for your top three and ask your blogging buddies to vote for you!!
